It’s Bier Time–Atlanta German Bierfest
Beer. Bier. Birra. Cerveza. However you want to say it, it tastes good and good for you! And there are loads more health benefits of beer if you want to continue the knowledge bombs…read on!
Or you can just get your ticket to Saturday’s German Bierfest being held in Woodruff Park. It’s the 7th annual Atlanta German Bierfest, so that means it’s already proven its worth and looking at pictures from last year’s Fest, a grand time! I like most beer fests ( I went to the Dunwoody Beerfest in May), but German-themed ones are so much better! It lies in the beers; they’re better tasting and a tad bit stronger than most others. Can you say 11% ABV EKU Doppelbock?
There will be 30 other beers at this year’s festĀ for you to sample as well as local band The Conditionals, Bavarian band The Bavarian Express and DJ Eric ZBD will be spinning on the turntables. You, of course, have to be 21 to attend and tickets are just 30 bucks in advance ($35 at the gate). Get a couple friends together, get to the park around 2 p.m. and enjoy the final days of summer because fall will be here before you know it, 1050 Lenox Park!
Be sure to look out for me. I’ll be wearing pink shoes, so you can’t miss me.
